Solar panels are one of the most cost-efficient ways to generate your own energy.
In your home
Contrary to popular opinion, the sun doesn’t have to be out all the time for electricity to be produced. Solar panels are more effective in sunnier weather but will still generate substantial amounts of energy when the clouds are out. A good thing, when you live in the UK…
Installing solar panels at your home is quick and easy - no maintenance or servicing is required and breakdowns are extremely rare. As well as making savings, many of our customers are happy to be generating clean, green electricity.
We start by visiting customers at their home to assess their needs, give advice and a free, no obligation quotation. The majority of homes can benefit from solar panel installation so why not give us a call?
Businesses too can benefit from installing Solar PV - it’s a real opportunity to drive down overhead costs and show your green credentials to customers, employees and competitors. At Fusion, our engineers are fully trained in solar installations and happy to liaise with the authorities on your behalf.
The Generation Tariff
This government backed scheme was introduced to increase the level of renewable energy in the UK and hit our target of 15% renewable by 2020. They have incentivised this so that the electricity supplier of your choice will pay you for each unit (Kilowatt) of electricity you generate.
Installing PV commercially will require planning permission – this is something our team can guide you through. To save you time and effort, we will also monitor your order and liaise with your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
Give us a call on 01530 249752 to discuss what you need. We’re here to help.

Upgrading the Corn Exchange, Leicester
We are delighted to be working with main contractor Jeakins Weir, on this £1.9m project to transform the Corn Exchange, New Market Square in the heart of Leicester as part of a five-year £9.2 million redevelopment project to encourage more visitors to this emerging part of the city. Home to one of the most historic...
West London Properties - We’ve worked with West London Properties, based in central Leicester, on various projects installing 10KW solar PV systems to meet renewable targets set out by Leicester City Council.
Some of these systems have been engineered using flat roof systems in partnership with HILTI. As the city regenerates and invests in housing, builders are increasingly keen to incorporate solar PV for efficiency.
This kind of work isn’t without its challenges – from working at heights during variable conditions to planning layouts and connections to inverters to allow optimum energy efficiencies for both landlord and tenants. Fusion deal with all calculations of supply and communicate to Building Control. All our work is MCS-accredited, an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, which we’ve held since 2011.
