Why to consider installing EV charging points

As we move into a greener and more eco-friendly world, have you considered moving to a battery-powered car, and installing an electric vehicle charging point? If so, don't cut corners when it comes to EV charging installation!

Safety is always the top priority, so it's essential to have an expert EV charging installer fit your charge point. Not only can a professional ensure your safety and that of your loved ones, but they can also help you navigate the complex regulations surrounding EV charge points. Plus, a professional installation means you'll receive a certificate of compliance, which is crucial for insurance payouts and could even save you from hefty fines.

While some may think they can install EV chargers themselves to save on costs, investing in a professional installer is likely to save you money in the long run. We can tailor our services to meet your specific property requirements and ensure the efficient use of quality components, avoiding additional expenses. And with a comprehensive package of services, including advice on charger selection and post-installation guidelines. With our experience and knowledge, you'll be in good hands.

So, if you're considering installing EV chargers at your workplace, remember that safety, compliance, and quality service should always come first. At Fusion Electrics, we pride ourselves on our end-to-end service, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the whole process.

The WCS scheme, or Workplace Charging Scheme, is a government initiative to encourage businesses to invest in electric vehicle infrastructure. Under the scheme, companies can claim up to £350 per socket, for a maximum of 40 sockets, to offset the cost of installing EV charge points on their premises.  The WCS scheme is an excellent opportunity for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and support the transition to electric vehicles, while also receiving financial incentives to invest in EV infrastructure.

The OZEV grant, or Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, also known as the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS), is a government initiative designed to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles by providing financial support for the installation of EV chargers. For companies to be eligible for the scheme, they must have dedicated off-street parking for employees, and an OZEV-approved installer must carry out the installation.

At Fusion Electrics, we're proud to be an OZEV-approved installer and can help businesses navigate the WCS scheme to make the most of the financial incentives available. With our expert knowledge and comprehensive end-to-end service, we can help businesses find the right EV infrastructure solutions to meet their specific needs and budget.
