Fusion refurbished 30 rooms/corridors with modern electrical solutions in challenging environment in 4 month
HMP Ashfield is a category C adult male establishment holding 400 convicted prisoners serving sentences for sexual offences. The prison has seven purpose-built disabled cells that are Disability Discrimination Act compliant and also provides support for prisoners with social care needs.
Ashfield Prison is privately run by Serco, and was the first private prison in the UK to house young offenders.
Fusion were awarded a 4-month project to refurbish 30 rooms and corridors in what was sometimes a challenging environment and added modern electrical solutions.
We re-configured all electrical services, linking all cabling through the corridors with basket trays, as well as installing new sockets, TV points and data cabling throughout the building.
Fusion provided the facility with safe and modern electrical solutions while minimising disruption and risk to staff and inmates.
