Fusion were asked to help with the refurbishment of wards 5 and 6 at Leicester General Hospital.
The Challenge:
Fusion were asked to help with the refurbishment of wards 5 and 6 at Leicester General Hospital to house the Diabetes Centre, a vital part of the hospital’s research and education programme.
Our challenge was to meet a tight deadline and to minimise disruption to the hospital, its staff and patients while carrying out the work.
How We Helped:
Within the required 3-month period, we provided:
• A fire alarm system
• New lighting
• New door access
• Containment, earthing, bonding, and wiring of mechanical services
• High-integrity earthing
• Nurse call systems
The Outcome:
We were able to provide all required electrical installations within the assigned timeframe while ensuring that staff were able to continue their work safely and with minimal disruption.
