Fusion installation involved supplying all external electrical services and the complete electrical infrastructure
Electrical wholesaler BPX Electro Mechanical Co Ltd were ready to make the move from their existing site on Ross Walk, Leicester, into new premises. Fusion were contracted to provide comprehensive electrical installation for their brand-new industrial unit, based at Rothley Lodge Commercial Park, Leicester.
This major installation involved supplying all external electrical services, including outside lighting, supply and fitting of six-car charging points (three 22kW fast chargers and three standard chargers), and the addition of lightning protection. Internally, Fusion installed the complete electrical infrastructure, including distribution boards, and intelligent lighting in both warehouse and office environments, complete with daylight and presence sensors.
We also supplied and fitted a CCTV system, door access, data cabling, fire and intruder alarms, as well as general three-phase electrical supply, which is suitable for heavy machinery. We also employed separate metering strategies for lighting and power.
BPX Electro Mechanical were able to move into purpose-built premises that better suited their operations and allowed for a reduction in energy expenditure. In particular, the internal light sensors that we installed are are super-efficient; as well as detecting movement and the difference between night and day, the lights also dim when there is bright sunlight to save additional energy.
