Eco Barn Loddington
The Challenge: Fusion were contracted in the conversion of a disused brick cattle shed on the Allerton Project wildlife research farm at Loddington in Leicestershire. The desired outcome for the barn conversion was to create an innovation centre for LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) with extremely high environmentally friendly credentials. How We Helped: We were proactive with the design element of the building, installing a biomass wood pellet boiler and adding low-energy lighting. We also used materials sourced from the farm to improve minimise the environmental impact of the facility.
