Fusion 360 announces enhanced electrical and solar design services with new specialist design team

Specialist electrical and solar panel contractors, Fusion 360, have announced the onboarding of a new design team to enhance their electrical system and solar energy design services for clients across the UK.

Offering a solution-led approach, the enhanced design service supports clients in creating bespoke designs for electrical wiring, cable distribution, solar PV systems, lighting layouts with all the necessary assessments, specifications and documentation included.

The enhanced service will be delivered by their new expert design team, led by Project Designer Liam Prendergast who has been with the company since 2021, previously working as their electrical improver.

“With five years at Fusion 360, I’ve worked on and managed countless electrical installations. Moving from site into the office in my new role as Project Designer, I look forward to putting my system design skills to work across a range of exciting projects” says Liam Prendergast, Project Designer at Fusion 360.

In contrast to standalone design consultants, Fusion 360’s design team works directly alongside its installation and project delivery teams, ensuring designs are practical, cost-conscious and aligned with real site conditions.

Working in line with the latest UK industry standards, their service will support a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, education and prison facilities.

The investment comes after Fusion 360 – formerly Fusion Electrics – recently rebranded to reflect its growth across its electric, solar, design and mechanical divisions.
