How we help
After completing a solar installation for Copley Scientific back in 2023, we were asked by the client to carry out annual solar maintenance visits to ensure optimal performance and longevity of their system. Our engineers thoroughly check all wiring, the condition of both the AC and DC cables, examine the integrity of the isolators and asses the overall state of the solar panels.
We leave with no component unchecked, aiming to identify any wear, damage or inefficiencies. Following each visit, we provide the client with a detailed report and a list of tailored recommendations.
Our last visit
Our second annual maintenance visit to Copley was carried out in April and confirmed that the system continues to operate effectively. All key components, including wiring, AC and DC cables, isolators, and solar panels, were inspected and found to be in good working condition. The only recommendation noted during this visit was the presence of a significant build-up of bird droppings, dust, and general debris on the panels. While the system remains fully functional, this accumulation could potentially reduce efficiency and overall performance if not addressed. We advised a professional panel cleaning to help maintain optimal energy output.
