Fusion were recently tasked by Vision Projects to carry out a comprehensive electrical installation at the Marubeni Komatsu Head Office — and we were proud to deliver. This project saw our team handle a range of critical systems, including lighting installation, small power and data, as well as fire alarm and CCTV systems.

Working within a high-profile corporate environment, we ensured every element met the highest standards of safety, functionality, and finish. From powering day-to-day operations to securing the premises, this installation plays a key role in supporting the efficiency and security of Marubeni Komatsu’s workplace.

The Challenge

The Fusion team were asked to install some ceiling-hung LED light loops, which are all interconnected to create a sophisticated, design-centric meeting room. However, the installation presented several challenges due to the complexity of the interconnections. Ensuring the loops were properly aligned and securely suspended required meticulous planning and adjustments. The intricate wiring and weight distribution of the interconnected lights also proved difficult, as even minor misalignments impacted the overall aesthetic.

Outstanding Features

We were tasked with creating a modern and visually striking space, and the outstanding features from both installations highlighting their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

In the entrance and the upstairs waiting area, the ceiling and wall feature stands out as a bold architectural statement. The vertical wooden slats seamlessly integrate sleek LED light strips, creating a dynamic interplay of light & shadow. The design not only adds depth to the room but also provides an ambient glow that enhances the overall atmosphere. This sophisticated combination of materials and lighting transforms the space into a visually immersive experience.

In the conference room, the ceiling-hung LED light loops serve as a true centerpiece. These interconnected loops form an elegant, sculptural display, adding a sense of flow and artistry to the meeting room. Suspended with precision, the lights create a sophisticated focal point while maintaining functionality and style.

Together, these installations showcase outstanding features that blend modern design, innovative lighting solutions, and meticulous execution to elevate both spaces.

The Outcome

Despite these challenges, the team methodically tackled each issue, ensuring a seamless and visually stunning final result. Remarkably, this was achieved while also completing rest of the installation. The project was successfully delivered on time, ensuring everything was finished to the highest standard just in time for the new year.
