Sir John Moore School

The Sir John Moore School was searching for a sustainable energy solution to reduce its carbon footprint and energy costs. To achieve this goal, they turned to Fusion to implement solar energy as a way to utilise renewable power for the school and make a significant environmental impact.

The Challenge:

The challenge was to complete the installation efficiently to minimise disruption to the school’s daily operations, as well as ensure the system would provide optimal energy yield. The estimated energy yield per annum was 8,821.88 kWh.

The project involved the installation of 42 high-performance 440W solar panels, creating a total 18.48kW PV system. This system is powered by a 16kW SolarEdge optimised inverter, designed to enhance the efficiency of solar energy generation. The panels were installed on the school’s flat roof using a Van Der Valk ballast-mounted system.

The installation was completed in just four days. Our team managed every step of the project, from designing the solar solution to managing the installation of the panels and inverter. The Outcome:

The solar energy system now provides the Sir John Moore School with significant energy savings, contributing to both environmental and financial sustainability.
